At www.jcp.com/survey, JC Penney customers can take a quick and easy interactive survey in English or in Spanish. To begin, all you need to do is go to the site and select which language you would like to take the survey in.
The Survey
Once you click on the language selection link, you will find yourself taking about 10 minutes or less to complete a simple survey that lets you tell JC Penney how you feel about your latest shopping experience with them. Be sure to fill in any additional comments you may have in order to clarify your answers, if necessary. The company has put this tool into place so their customers can have a say in the way things are run in the future.
If You Encounter Problems, Help is Easy to Find
If for some reason you encounter any trouble with the survey, you should click on the “Technical Help” button located to the bottom left of the screen. A second screen will pop up, giving you the option to continue with the technical help menu or allowing you to see ways to connect with JC Penney’s customer service center.
When you select the option that allows you to continue getting technical help, you will need to have your receipt on hand, along with your name and contact information. Fill in the boxes completely so that customer care can help with the process of problem resolution. Be specific – the more information you can provide, the better your chances of having an issue resolved right then. Remember to click the red “Submit” button at the bottom of the page when finished.
Contacting Customer Service Directly
In order to contact customer service, follow the instructions offered on the Technical Help page. First, go to the www.jcp.com link provided, then click “Contact Us”, which is located at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Be sure to scroll all the way down, and look in the fine print to locate that link. It is not easy to see.
Once you have clicked the Contact Us button, you’ll be presented with a range of options for contacting JC Penney’s customer service department. You can call 1-800-322-1189 to speak with an operator, or you may send an email. Calling is fastest, while sending an email usually means you will get a response in two to three business days.
As a last resort, you can send JC Penney a letter. Click on the “Put it in Writing” option to see a menu of addresses, then select the address that suits your needs.

Been very disappointed in JCP –stores are not as much fun to shop anymore–quality seems poor on a lot of items–no more sales– availability of most items is gone! Internet shopping is a farce, ” sorry item is no longer available”- that happens more time than not—
I have been a loyal jcp shopper for 40 years. Your 10-12 page monthly catalogs SUCK!
I throw them away immediately…waste of postal service! And what is up with the ugly clothes? it might be a good time for me to start thinking “Herbergers”
