You should correct your webpage. I had to read it 3 times before I realized it meant “There are many people who are unemployed due to various reasons” and not “There are many people who are unemployed DIE to various reasons”

I called many times on 7/1/13 finally got o answer questions but the system was still down it said , recalled all day finally got back in system but my claim has been denied for the pay week. This morning tried the system again before heading down to the unemployment office> still not working. Upon my arrivals t o the dua office I see I am not the only one with this same problem, many other people(FAMILY’S) along side of me wait over an hour to be turned around when they finally opened the doors. The unemployment office now no long can assist you there, so of coarse standing in awwww with these other family members relying on the system to make ends meet in there time of crisis, we are told to go on the web. Site There in the office, on a computer the system is still down after I saw at least 6 people be turned around with no HELP but to call a number 617 626 5400 witch I did as I was in office and told because of high demand calls to call back later in the week!!!!!! What are u kidding me! All these people with the same problem but no solution. Its not like anyone has bills or food to put on tables for the future of america .I’m not sure as I leave this office and told along with all these other fellow hard working Americans there is nothing they can do to help!!!!!!! Now here at home, missed out on a call I received in the dua office of a interview. But I need to pay my bills – calling franticly trying to get someone to Help but not finding any what so ever with the web cart, the numbers given to me to call to see if they can help out but no answers just hang ups in my FACE Help me and my family if u happen to read this dua. Thank you
Sincerely lee g thomas

I opened a new account on July 25th 2013. The agent took all my information and told me I was all set. I was told to file my weekly claim for benefits each Sunday. I have tried to do this over the web site and by phone. When I try to access my account it goes to a choice of employer agent. For two days I have not gotten through either the phone or the computer.

maureen sweeney July 8, 2013 at 12:54

this is my third week and no Bennett .I never received my questionnaire in the mail. please help me. I still call every week. I try to apply on my computer with no luck.

The new system unemployment implemented is terrible , and confusing …it is not working …it locks me out,it has denied my bennifits for 2 weeks that I was approved for ….. and I cannot talk to anyone …I called workforce in Milford , they are very nice ..they told me everyone is having trouble with this system , and I needed to talk with unemployment representive …..and no one has called me, and I cannot get thru because of the height of calls….it wasn’t broken befour …so why fix something not broken ….too many confusing questions too…Go Back To The Last System …

Miranda Runge July 9, 2013 at 20:36

Somehow, I cannot do the webcert via phone, or online. It says I already completed for this week. I haven’t done it. So how is the possible. I have called about 20 times a day between Monday, July 8th and today. I cannot get through. When checked online the option of direct deposit or for money to be put on the DUA debit card, keeps saying I have direct deposit. I have NEVER had direct deposit and it is going to an account which does not belong to me. This new system is seriously flawed.

Linda Bellizia July 10, 2013 at 14:32

Since the new system has started I have u successfully been able to file my weekly claim. The phone system has been down. Would like to find out what my status is. I have been trying daily with no success.

Grace DiPietro July 10, 2013 at 20:26

I have registered on the new system. The first half works fine, but when I go to enter my work search info., It will not accept it because I don’t have the name of a contact person. Usually, I file the application and click on “submit”. If I do not get a response from them, I do not have a contact person. Many times with applications are through Monster.com.

kristine morrin July 11, 2013 at 17:41

Alan Lyons July 14, 2013 at 13:53

Hold the line a rep will be with you in about 48 hours. Thank you for all the answers you gave us on the phone now its time to hang up on you!!!!!! Is this agency for real??????????You should all be out looking for a job you can do!!!!!

Yolanda D. Lewis July 15, 2013 at 17:40

I know sometimes you run into minor issues with up-grades but this is ridiculous!
We can’t get in the system! When we do, there is issues with questions to be answered. When we answer them there is no response to the statements, just more fact finding questions about matters not pertaining to the issue at hand.
I pray that you get a hold of all these glitches, so you can effectively serve all of these people in need of these services at a crucial point in their lives.
None of us want to be here dealing with no employment!

Thank You

I have been trying to login to my account through the mass.gov webcert, I have tried at least 30 different passwords and every time it tells me there is something wrong with it. I then called the 617 number and was on hold for 1 hr and 30 mins, and the lady who answered F****** hung up on me.
I dont know what else to do to. I have 2 kids and don’t have time for this bs- they need to get there S*** together! but i am desperate for money because all of my hours were cut at work. what else do i do?!?!

bonnie macdonald July 18, 2013 at 16:22

I applied for Unemployment benefits on May22. I have submitted claims either by phone or by website every week since then. I have not received a check. I have filled everything out and answered all questions. I called last week and was told the call volume was so high to ‘call back on Thursday or Friday’. Which I did only to hear the same message; but now it was ‘due to high volume please call Friday.’ I cannot tell by the information given on-line as to why my claim is held up – saying I am not eligible. My office closed. I worked there for 25 years as manager. I was on medical leave until May 8th. When I called to say when I was coming back – I was told the office was closing as of 5/31/2013. Please help me..

Coralie J. Landry July 18, 2013 at 18:49

This has been the most FRUSTRATING PROCESS EVER!!!!!! I initially filed my claim via telephone and have been trying since July 1 2013 to access the online system. What a JOKE!!!! Someone else commented “you have got to be kidding me”. This is without a doubt, the worse online system I have EVER SEEN. I used to work for the second largest computer company in the world. Whoever designed, maintains your online system missed the boat entirely. First of all, my initial logon attempt wouldn’t work because obviously some data input person had my SS# incorrect in the system because it wasn’t accepted. When I sent an email I NEVER got a response back and didn’t know if I COULD EVER logon until my second attempt on 7/12/13. Which did work. I was asked to complete a questionnaire in my inbox which I spent 3+ hours completing and use the SAVE button as requested because the “system can time-out”. It DIDN’T WORK and I lost all of my work……Now, I’m faced with a deadline of 7/22/13 to complete the form, I’ve requested one by mail (which was my original choice), and today is the 18th of July 2013. Still, NO FORM received in the mail. This is a VERY UNRELIABLE SYSTEM. I’ve called the telephone line the past couple of weeks to report my claim…….I WILL NOT use a system such as this with all the glitches and problems that it has. I’ve seen on TV people picketing about this new system; what about people that can’t afford a computer or even know how to use one for that matter. Do ANY OF US matter to ANYONE in STATE GOVERNMENT??? From reading all the comments that people have posted I’m not the only person FRUSTRATED with this system. Now, it’s going to be “down” on “Friday, 7/19/2013 at 7 pm for system maintenance”.??????? Come on, reconfigure the ENTIRE SYSTEM and start all over again from scratch! I’m wondering if I WILL EVER collect a claim check??!!

Its amazing the unprofessionalism of the DUA, & this is a gov. program.Last time i checked the gov is supposed rep the people in our best interest not rob the people of there interest . Tax paying citizen doing our part an this is what our taxes pay 4 a FAILED SYSTEM time an time again leaving us the people in peril with overdue bills no food on our tables till they decide 2 get it right an when we look 4 answers u get a voicemail telling u 2 call back another time or a web page thats always crashed please thats sound like some gov conartist an theres not a dam thing we can do about it but try 2 survive till they put another temporary bandaid on it an it crashes again. I mean who do we report DUA ‘s CONSTANT!!! FAILURES 2 who a voicemail LMFAO ya ok .Stability is built on structure an the DUA has neither PLEASE get it right cause u make lives harder than they should b in these hard enough times we live in we need help not HOLD UPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tina patricelli July 23, 2013 at 16:24

I have been trying to call 1-877-626-6800 for two days’ LOCKED OUT’.FRUSTRATED. received paper work that stated must be returned before 7-12-2013 that is not possible because today is7-25-2013 just received yesterday 7-24-2013 .whats up ?

John L. July 29, 2013 at 00:54

For others who are as frustrated as I am, I would suggest sending snail mail to the governor. At some point, they have to acknowledge that they’ve replaced a system that barely works with something that doesn’t work at all.
Begging to the people at the telephone numbers won’t do a thing. They just show up and do their job. The person or people who are responsible for screwing it up have fat salaries, and probable have no idea how badly they’ve screwed things up. Unless the S**t comes down on them from above, they’ll show up (or not show up), and continue to pretend they’ve done something wonderful by turning something that barely worked into something that doesn’t work at all.

Been trying to fill out the online Return to work form and it will not let me submit it due to what looks like a bug in the program. I wish there was a help desk number to call just for help with the online bugs. I have sent emails to various addresses I have bound on the site, but have received no answer. The form is due on 8/2 and I have been trying to call (when I am allowed) but just get told to call back later.
Does anyone read these comments posted here?

David Veilleux August 1, 2013 at 12:05

How do you get threw to anyone? Your new system is terrible. Wanna start school but can’t get anywhere with anyone! When I do talk to someone things get worse! Please help….

I have not received a Mass check since April 29th.
I left one job where my hours were reduced to just 2/3 hours a day, 9 hours a week. at 7.75/hr. I was spending more in gas driving back and forth to work for just a couple of hours day, than I was making in compensation.
Not one little check affected my dua checks.
I started a different job a few weeks later, making a little more, and I can walk to work if I have to. Then my checks stopped coming. My online result page I printed out mid June, from the Mass web site, shows I have a few thousand left in my account balance. I have not paid mortgage, bills since end of April.
I was told in early May, because I quit one job, with good reason and started another job, my claim is in the adjudication dept. and I should hear from someone in 6-8 weeks. I have not received a phone call, and the Haverhill Mass office who told me this information is closed. It has been now 12 weeks, and I do not know the status of my claim. How do I reach someone in the :adjudication dept?

I am losing my home and am desperate. ( like everybody else, my calls go unanswered) I even sent an e-mail to Sec of State, William Galvin office and faxed a letter to Martha Coakely’s office, explaining my desperate plight. No response.

Can ANYONE HELP ME?
THANK YOU.

korrine cooper August 3, 2013 at 17:03
