i purchased a sweater at your store #08565 on12/17/12 trans#5732 sales#2930 cashier2372930 for $38.44 i paid cash but opened a credit card acct. to rec. a %15 discount the purchase was also applied to the new acct #6018 5900 7405 4898 without my auth. for several weeks i have been incontact with your store mang.laura who has so far been unable to resolve this matter she gave me #s for the credit card co. who i have already talked to and your coustomer service dept. is it your policy to pass the problem on or to step up and be fix it your employee phillip who waited on me took my cash payment an also an also charged my acct.

if an error happns at the point of sale it shold be corrected at the point of sale not run the customer around to correct your mistake where are you guys at

Shopping in your store is a terrific experience, the ambiance is friendly, the help is delightful and the clothes are fun, colorful and very fetching. Now please sit down for the rest of this letter…I was unable to pay at the store they said and off I went into the outer mall swinging my bag of luscious loot with a number to call to make the payment ( 1-800-465-6865.) This evening I wanted to make an honest woman of myself and called said number. Machine answers giving nine possibilities none of which has anything to do with paying the bill. OK! Let’s call the store…nope, they don’t take payments there but call new number (1-800-234-7455.) BINGO, A payment center…over and over I am requested to babble off my Banana Republic Account Number, social security number, date of birth, etc. All I want to explain is that I want to use my Bank Debit Card not the BR one…finally three quarters of an hour later, a lady called Brittany no doubt worn down by this mountain of personal information I’VE FOOLISHLY DIVULGED asks me if I want to pay the bill…WOW! I did pay…we are square as of this moment but a bit of head scratching is in order for me. Was this just a surreal experience, a one time mix up or do you really have a rather bizarre method of running a business? Before I point all my disheveled friends to load up on BR duds and make a hot getaway like I did, please let me know that this is not the usual modus operandi in collecting payment! NB; In retrospect it was rather stupid of me to give the personal information…I feel that it should not be called for…could easily be a scam! Finally , I do like the Banana Republic very much for all the reasons stated above and will continue to shop there but I cannot imagine a store letting a shopper out with a bag of nicely folded goods without paying…sorta like suicide!

My first visit was fine on 8/17/13 at freehold raceway mall N j.I went to exchange shorts 8/24/13.I found salesperson to be annoyed about my exchange was very unhelpful.I purchased a shirt in enchanted .The balance was twelve dollars and one cent.I gave him a twenty and two singles. He gave me back nine dollars and minty nine cents. Really a penny come on. I was very unhappy with his treatment to me made me feel uneasy and unwanted.
